Client: Siemens Location: Sydney, NSW and Melbourne, VIC Market: Infrastructure Capabilities: Design and Manufacture Kiosk Substations
Scope of Work:
Trivantage Manufacturing were engaged to design and manufacture a range of kiosk substations for the client’s Sydney and Melbourne data centres.
The project program dictated that a total of 64 Kiosks were needed to be delivered in three stages to two locations keeping to a very tight delivery schedule.
The Kiosks included:
Installation of 22KV transformers and ring main units
Engineering and assembly of the plinths and kiosk enclosures
Commissioning and termination of HV cabling
Manufacture of LV switchboards and installation of LV cabling
Installation of PLC and associated components
Client witness factory acceptance testing
Given the extremely tight delivery schedule, Trivantage Manufacturing worked closely with our in-house sheetmetal team to develop a standardised modular design that would deliver a fully equipped kiosk that could be manufactured in both our Queensland and Victorian workshops concurrently.
The ability to be able to keep all of the work in-house as well as being able to utilise multiple workshop facilities nationally is what separates Trivantage Manufacturing from its competitors. Maintaining complete control throughout the project, and offering one point of contact for our client ensured a faster, higher quality manufacturing process.
